The time has come to welcome a new SAASS Council for the 2026–2027 term! Applications are open to all SAASS members with a valid membership number and up-to-date membership. Preference is given to senior undergraduates, postgraduates, and early-career researchers.

Membership Secretary
SADC Representative
Events Co-ordinator
Applicants must submit a CV, motivation letter, and a letter of recommendation (plus any role-specific requirements listed on the SAASS website).
Applications close on 16 January 2026 @ 11:59pm (SAST). Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview, with final selection made by the Council. The new term begins in February 2026 with a one-month handover period.
