This research aims to expand on the travelling museum from her Master’s research by reimagining its design and broadening the impact of the outreach initiative. Justine is also a community outreach liaison at the University of Mpumalanga where she aims to share the research conducted by the Thulamela Research Project with the public. She is passionate about archaeology, community engagement and skills development. She is excited to create opportunities for SAASS members to network with peers, professionals and funders, nurture their love for archaeology, and develop skills they can apply within and beyond the discipline.
