Ian Tawanda Mugowa is a holder of a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Archaeology, Museums and Heritage Studies attained from Great Zimbabwe University (2018-2022). Currently, he is a registered Masters of Archaeology student at the University of Zimbabwe. He is very passionate in Archaeology and Cultural Heritage, simultaneously on a journey to quench his thirsty in Archaeoastronomy. He is also a Youth Volunteer of Zimbabwe Workcamps Association (ZWA), He also have experience in tourism as he worked with Savanna Heritage and Tourism Consultancy in 2019 to 2020. In pursing his carrier, in 2020 to 2021 he represented Africa in a project called PK150: Connected Collections, which was under the Porthcurno Museum of Global Communication, UK. In the 1st half of 2022 he was also a Research Intern for Sporting Heritage at Leeds Museums and Galleries, UK.
