Welcome to the Southern African Archaeology Student Society (SAASS), a community for students, researchers and the public.

Established and operated by the Southern African Archaeology Student Council (SAASC) in 2013, this society was developed to give students a voice and a platform to express new ideas and  thoughts regarding all aspects of the academic and research environment. 

 

We also support and encourage student networking, information/research sharing, learning and growing as a collective to access and share the rich history and prehistory represented in the southern African archaeological record.
